Olde world pub that serves food. Recommended in past but mixed reviews since our last visit.

New Forest Inn, Emery Down nr Lyndhurst
Very popular pub for food and drink.

Hare & Hounds, Sway (open 7 days a week)
Very good menu.

High Corner Inn, Linwood nr Ringwood
Usual pub food choice, plus carvery at peak times. Has that 'in the middle of nowhere' feel.

The Hobler on A337 Battramsley, nr Lymington
More of a bistro than a pub these days. Some outside seating.

Le Poussin at Whitley Ridge Hotel, edge of Brockenhurst
Gourmet menu. Recently won a Michelin star.

Oak Inn, Bank nr Lyndhurst
Very popular dining pub.

Red Lion, Boldre (follow signs for Boldre off A337)
Lovely old pub with attractive menu.

Good food. Popular with families in summer as has outdoor play area.
